Abstract—Ragging complaint system is an android based application. Mobile Applications are developed for many different purposes like games, social media apps, music apps, utility apps etc. And also the main purpose of developing a mobile app is for making the user feel comfortable by using the process in their mobile phones itself. The key to make an application successful is by making it user friendly. The user must not feel hard to use the app. There must be proper guidance and help from the development team. The mobile app must also be attractive in order to gain popularity amongst its users. In this Ragging complaint System app, the user who wishes to post a complaint to the administration must first download the app, and then register their basic details to get themselves an individual login id and password. Once registration process has been completed successfully the user needs to login.
Enter the user-id and password and login. The user is provided with four options like an automatic alert system, emergency contacts, and a method to post their complaint and to view the status of their previously posted complaints. When a user is experiencing ragging in the college campus and he/she requires immediate help from the college management, the user needs to open the Ragging complaint system app, switch on the automatic alert system facility and then shake < Final Year Projects 2016 > mobile phone which sends a message automatically saying ‘RAGGING DETECTED’ to the admin’s mobile number by default. The user is also given provision to complaint directly to the higher officials of the college like the principal, the vice principal Their contact numbers are listed one by one and the user needs to select the person to whom he/she wishes to complain ragging detected message will be sent to the selected person .
